The two 18' fans were hung by our two of our mechanics in a single day and wired by electricians the next day. We have been running both fans "24-7" for two weeks and are very happy with the results. After some experimenting and feedback from the workers, we settled on speeds of 4.5 during the day and 3.0 at night. Everything seemed to go as predicted, including a boost to morale as people feel the heat pouring down from the ceiling in steady streams. We are already excited by the prospect of creating and controlling our own "wind chill" this summer. Last Saturday, I cranked them both up to max for a few hours as a test of their balance and effectiveness. Papers not weighted down were on the move and those weighted were fluttering (this is a good thing!).
